Cat Deeley has revealed she relies on a nanny to assist with raising her two sons, Milo, nine, and James, seven, as she navigates life as a single mother following her separation from husband Patrick Kielty. The couple, who relocated to the UK from Los Angeles in 2020, announced their separation in July 2025 through a joint statement.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Deeley, 49, described her co-parenting arrangement with the Irish comedian, 55, as a 50-50 split. "It's about being as organised as you can possibly be," she stated. "I have an amazing nanny too."
Deeley, who co-hosts ITV's This Morning with Ben Shephard, admitted that the administrative demands of co-parenting can disrupt her sleep. "Everybody's doing their best," she added. The joint statement released by the couple emphasized that no third party was involved in the breakdown of their marriage and affirmed their commitment to remain united as loving parents.
Reports from Kielty's family indicated that they were aware of the marriage's end in March 2025, the same period Deeley did not attend his mother Mary's funeral. Deeley and Kielty first connected in 2002 while hosting the BBC talent show Fame Academy. Their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship, which they made public in May 2012, followed by a private wedding ceremony in Rome in September of the same year.
Recently, Deeley was seen with film industry executive Charlie Coleman at a concert in London in July, sparking romance rumors. Coleman, an executive at Amazon MGM Studios, was observed with his hand on Deeley's shoulder during the event. Sources have suggested Deeley is open to dating but has no plans to join dating apps.
It was also reported that Deeley and Kielty have placed their home in Hampstead, north London, on the market for approximately $5.25 million. They had purchased the property for close to $5 million in 2023.
