Cardi B made a striking appearance at Paris Haute Couture Week on Monday, wearing a custom gown by Indian designer Rahul Mishra to his fall/winter 2026 haute couture show. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper was seated front row at the event held at the Collège des Bernardins.

The ivory corset gown featured trompe l'oeil embroidery and draping designed to create the illusion that her body was carved from stone. Intricate beadwork on the shoulders and hips further enhanced this effect. According to Mishra, the design was inspired by the 12th-century sculpture of Mohini found at India's Chennakeshava Temple in Belur.

Mishra stated that artisans meticulously recreated the illusion of carved jewelry and flowing drapery on fabric, aiming to translate the solidity of stone into something "weightless, living and wearable." The gown is part of Mishra's "Devi: The Eternal Muse" couture collection, a line named after the Sanskrit word for "goddess" and influenced by ancient Indian temple statues and carvings dating back to the second-century Ajanta caves.

Cardi B, styled by Kollin Carter, accessorized the look with a maang tikka headpiece, earrings from Chopard, and heels by Gianvito Rossi. After she took her seat, jeweler Tanishq added a couture diamond necklace.

The rapper shared images of the ensemble on Instagram with the caption, "I'm only accepting princess treatment." Social media users responded positively, with one commenter noting the artisans' skill in transforming fabric into a sculpted form.

Also in attendance at the show was Reliance Retail executive Isha Ambani, who was seen in a slate-grey design from the same collection. The runway was opened by singer Rei Ami.
