The cast of the latest installment in the Camp Rock franchise, titled 'Camp Rock 3,' described their on-set experience as a whirlwind of bonding and shared experiences, with little downtime between filming and cast outings. Actors Liamani Segura, Lumi Pollack, Casey Trotter, and Hudson Stone shared their reflections on the movie's premiere and their time working together.

"I don’t think there were any moments when we weren’t hanging out," Pollack recalled. The cast members noted that even after long days of filming, they would often gather in each other's rooms for movie nights or participate in seafood boils. This camaraderie extended to their shared love for recreating iconic songs from the original films. Segura and Pollack both cited "We Rock" as a favorite, particularly because they performed it onstage with the Jonas Brothers. Stone favored "Start the Party" for its energetic choreography and the unified cast performance.

The film also featured surprise cameos from Demi Lovato and Milo Manheim. Pollack explained that Manheim's appearance was a last-minute addition, stemming from a chance encounter at a Jonas Brothers concert. Lovato's involvement, however, was known to the cast earlier. Segura described her onscreen moment with Lovato, where their characters share a look, as "so insane" and a symbolic "passing of the torch" moment. Segura looked up to Lovato, making the scene particularly meaningful.

Pollack shared the intensive preparation required for her role, including learning to play the cello for a month prior to shooting, dedicating two hours daily to lessons and practice. Stone discussed how he infused his own musical background into his character, Desi, especially in the song "Get Ready," which marked his own step into the spotlight. Trotter, a drummer, expressed interest in a future role that would focus on a drummer's perspective, drawing parallels to films like "Whiplash."

The cast members also offered insights into their viewing habits. Pollack and Segura are watching "Sterling Point" on Prime Video, while Stone is engrossed in "Severance" and "Silo." Trotter has revisited comedy classics like "Grown Ups" and "The Hangover" trilogy.

Reflecting on the Jonas Brothers' involvement, Stone noted the advice and wisdom they shared, stemming from their own extensive careers. Pollack added that observing their professionalism and how they navigated returning to a set with significant personal history was a valuable learning experience. Segura felt the Jonas Brothers were supportive, allowing the new cast creative freedom.

When asked about potential future Disney Channel Original Movies (DCOMs) they'd like to see revived, Pollack suggested "High School Musical," "Lemonade Mouth," and "Teen Beach Movie." Segura and Pollack expressed enthusiasm for creating a new DCOM themselves.
