Bunnie Xo has shared the significant physical impact her divorce from musician Jelly Roll had on her, detailing moments where she was unable to eat and required medical intervention.
During an appearance on "Open Book with Jenna Bush Hager," Bunnie Xo described the extreme toll the separation took on her health. "There were moments where my team had to pick me up off the floor and get me IVs because I wasn't eating," she said. She admitted to subsisting on baby food to manage, ultimately losing 20 pounds as a result of the heartbreak.
Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18, listing May 9 as the date of separation. The couple, who met in 2015, eloped a year later. Their marriage lasted nearly 10 years before their divorce was finalized in July.
Bunnie Xo stated that she chose not to publicly participate in what she described as a "circus" surrounding the divorce. She emphasized her independence, asserting, "I am my own person. I stand on my own two feet, even alongside my ex-husband." She highlighted that she maintained her own distinct brand and identity separate from her former spouse.
Following the end of her marriage, Bunnie Xo has focused on prioritizing herself, embracing what she calls "selfishness" as a necessary act of self-care. "It's pouring back into yourself," she explained. "It's being selfish. It's OK to be selfish. We as women feel like we need permission to be selfish, and we don't." She encouraged prioritizing personal time and self-nourishment, even in small ways.
Despite public perception, Bunnie Xo clarified that her post-divorce activities have not been as sensational as some might assume. "People probably think I'm out here doing, like, ho activities, and I'm not," she said. She described her current life as involving more mundane activities like playing board games and working out, noting that social media only shows a curated part of her life.
In early July, Bunnie Xo was seen with 24-year-old reality star Dylan Wolf, which she addressed by stating that not everyone she is seen with is a romantic partner. She lightheartedly suggested she might be seen with multiple people, regardless of gender, humorously adding, "Maybe even a freaking camel."
