Brodie Ryan, formerly partnered with AFL great Nathan Buckley, has confirmed she is single again after ending her relationship with Perth-based boyfriend Dave. The pair separated approximately two months ago, but Ryan stated there is no animosity between them.
"Dave is a lovely guy. He has such a beautiful heart and I wish him all the happiness and success in the future," Ryan told Daily Mail Australia. She described her current phase of life as one focused on independence and building a fulfilling existence.
"Since moving into my new home in February 2026, I have found such a sense of peace and am very content on my own," Ryan said. She has been actively decorating her new home, describing the process as rewarding and creating a calm, organized space.
Ryan expressed that she feels more fulfilled than ever, emphasizing that contentment within oneself means any future relationship must add significant value to an already complete life. She is also reinvesting in her career, returning to the music industry while maintaining her full-time role in the security sector.
"I have been extremely busy in my full-time role, but I do love being busy," she said. "So much so, that I have filled my spare time getting back into the music industry and working with an upcoming singer-songwriter recording in Sydney." Ryan has taken on a talent management role, collaborating with an emerging artist and a Grammy-nominated producer.
In addition to her music endeavors, Ryan continues to work with lifestyle and fashion brands. She is also planning a spontaneous solo trip to the United States in the coming weeks. "Looking forward to a spontaneous solo USA trip in two weeks and will catch up with mates along the way," she stated.
Ryan and Nathan Buckley announced the end of their three-year relationship in May 2025. At the time, Ryan confirmed their "Brodes and Bucks journey" had concluded, stating, "After much reflection and consideration, Nath and I have decided to part ways."
Their relationship began in 2022, with Ryan previously noting a connection over similar upbringings and shared values, despite a 17-year age gap. Buckley's previous marriage to Tania ended in December 2020, after 18 years, and they share two sons. Ryan expressed gratitude for their shared time and the friendship that developed.
"While we will no longer be a couple, I will always respect Nathan and the friendship that developed between us 3-4 years ago and have a lot of love for him and his boys and our beautiful dog Tank," she said at the time of their split. She concluded their statement by requesting privacy during their transition.
