Rumors that Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess have called off their engagement are circulating online, fueled by the "Dancing With the Stars" performer's recent public appearances without her engagement ring.
Speculation began when a fan on Reddit pointed out that Burgess, 41, had not been seen wearing her ring on recent episodes of the show or in her social media posts. The fan noted that the last time Burgess appeared to be wearing the ring was in a video she uploaded on September 28.
While some users on the platform agreed with the theory, others suggested alternative explanations, such as the ring needing resizing, being cleaned, or simply that Burgess chose not to wear it. One user pointed out that Green, 53, recently commented on one of Burgess's Instagram videos with laughing emojis.
The couple, who began dating in October 2020, announced their engagement in July 2023. They welcomed their son, Zane, in June 2022. Green also has five other children from previous relationships.
Burgess previously spoke about how the arrival of their son Zane had strengthened their family bonds. "I was always incredibly close with the kids as our relationship grew, but when Zane came along, it was like that piece locked in where they were, like, 'Oh, this is forever,'" she told Stellar magazine.
