Kim Kardashian revealed an amusing on-set misunderstanding involving her "All's Fair" co-star Sarah Paulson, admitting she once believed Paulson's character's deep voice was her actual speaking voice.
Kardashian shared the anecdote during an appearance on "Good Morning America" to discuss the second season of the Hulu series. "I realized this when we were in Rome a few weeks ago," Kardashian said. She explained that she had thought Paulson's character, Carrington Lane, had a voice "seven octaves lower" than her real one and that this was Paulson's natural tone.
Paulson, 51, confirmed the mistake, stating that Kardashian believed this "for longer than she should have." The actresses have been working together for over a year.
Kardashian also recounted moments where she and Paulson struggled to maintain composure while filming scenes. "Those two fall apart," Niecy Nash-Betts, who also stars in the show, commented on their tendency to laugh during takes. Kardashian recalled one instance where she and Paulson were asked to leave the set to regain their composure due to excessive laughter.
The cast also discussed their enjoyment of the prop food on set, with Kardashian admitting she often ate it. "I love to eat [the set food] the whole time," she said, adding that she would frequently ask to take food with her after scenes concluded.
"All's Fair" premiered its first season in November 2025 and faced critical reviews. Season 2 began releasing episodes on Hulu on Wednesdays, with new installments scheduled through December 2.
Kardashian, who plays a divorce lawyer named Allura Grant in the series, has expressed aspirations to pursue a legal career in real life. However, she recently failed to pass the bar exam in July 2025. Speaking to Page Six at the show's New York premiere, Kardashian stated she doesn't often feel embarrassed, adding, "I think it’s embarrassing for people that don’t try to study for the bar that would ever put me in an embarrassing situation."
