Bobby Norris, 39, has revealed he has undergone nine cosmetic surgeries, joking that he is becoming the male equivalent of Katie Price. The television personality appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his latest procedures, which will be featured in Olivia Attwood's upcoming show, 'Price Of Perfection.'
Norris detailed his decision to have a face and neck lift, along with eye-bag removal, earlier this year. He stated that these procedures came after a "decade of abusing fillers" and incurred a cost exceeding £50,000. "I'm really transparent about the things I've done," Norris told hosts Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley. "I think in this industry, rather than saying things are down to moisturisers and products, I'd rather document it and show people."
He added that he believes it is important to be honest about such procedures, stating, "I think a lot of people think surgery is cheating but there is a recovery to it. It's not a quick easy thing. I think it's important to be really honest."
Norris mentioned that he has had approximately eight or nine operations in total. When asked by Richard Madeley if he was transforming into Katie Price, Norris noted the comparison is often made. "A lot of people compare me to Kate," he said. "She's like me though, we're very open about it and honest, because we do document it. I don't see a shame in it."
He further elaborated on his openness, stating, "When you have a platform and a profile, I think it's important to be honest and show the reality. I'm not embarrassed or ashamed of it."
Regarding his most recent surgeries, Norris explained the rationale behind combining procedures. "In terms of the last surgery, I had my face done and then my neck done whilst I was there because you're not going to put old wheels on a new car," he said. "I had my eyes done because I'd had the upper blepharoplasty which were my top eyelids the year or two years before. Then I did the lower. Whilst you're under why not get it all done, I think."
Norris attributed his extensive procedures to stretching his skin over the past decade due to filler use. He admitted he "doesn't know" the specific reason for all the surgeries and cannot self-diagnose with body dysmorphia. "I get offered a lot of surgery and treatments, everything I had done was for a reason," he stated.
Norris's past surgeries include a nose job early in his career and an upper eyelid lift two years prior to his recent facelift. He acknowledged that a part of his motivation for surgery stems from a fear of aging as he approaches his 40th birthday.
