Rising country artist Blake Whiten recently sat down with Page Six for a 'Confession Cube' segment, discussing his debut album, “Something To Say,” and his burgeoning career. Whiten reflected on his journey from writing songs in his bedroom to performing on national tours.
He shared that the inspiration for his album stems from his personal experiences. Whiten noted his ongoing difficulty in writing happy songs, a challenge he's faced since his early days. The artist also spoke about pivotal career moments, including opening for Bailey Zimmerman and joining Morgan Wallen's stadium tour this summer.
During the interview, Whiten revealed some personal details, including what he considers the most "21-year-old" aspect of himself. He also admitted to an unusual fear of tomatoes, which he finds more unsettling than tornadoes. Whiten also expressed a fondness for gas station hot dogs and outlined his dream tour lineup, which notably includes Nickelback and Creed.
Whiten's debut album, “Something To Say,” is now available, and he is set to embark on his own headlining tour.
