Filming for Sam Mendes' upcoming four-part biopic series on The Beatles continued this week, with actors spotted in St. John's Wood. The series, which is set to focus on each member of the iconic band, is slated for simultaneous release next year.

Actors Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison were seen filming. Keoghan, portraying Ringo Starr, was photographed making rude hand gestures while dressed in costume, first in a camper van and later in a Jaguar E-Type. Mescal, as Paul McCartney, maintained a more subdued presence during the day's shoot.

Scenes were also filmed near the famous Abbey Road zebra crossing, a nod to the band's 1969 album cover. While initial reports suggested Westminster council might not permit filming at the iconic location, it was later confirmed that the council was working with production teams to facilitate the shoot. A replica of John Lennon's psychedelic Rolls-Royce Phantom V was also present on set, a vehicle significant to his story that he famously had repainted from black to bright yellow with elaborate designs.

Mal Evans, The Beatles' roadie, was also represented on set by actor Daniel Hoffmann-Gill. Evans played an indispensable role in the band's tours and recording sessions.

The recent filming activity follows reports of an on-set incident involving Keoghan. Sources told The Daily Mail that Keoghan had an outburst at a previous filming location in Stonewall Park, Kent, removing his Ringo Starr earrings and discarding them in a bush before storming off. This reportedly halted filming for a day as staff searched for the missing earrings.

This alleged outburst comes amidst reports of Keoghan retreating from public life, which he attributed to online hate directed at his appearance and rumors of infidelity. Keoghan has denied these infidelity claims. He previously stated on a podcast that he had stopped engaging with social media and public events.
