Comedian Joanne McNally, a contestant on the BBC's "Celebrity Traitors," claims the broadcaster prevented her from releasing a podcast episode detailing her experience on the show. The planned "tell-all" episode for her podcast, "My Therapist Ghosted Me," was reportedly stopped because it violated the non-disclosure agreements signed by all participants.
McNally, 43, was banished from the competition before reaching the final. She had promised listeners an extra episode of her podcast, co-hosted with Vogue Williams, that would delve into her time on "Celebrity Traitors." However, podcast producer Joe Attewell confirmed the episode would not be released, stating that the BBC indicated "just about everything that had been spoken about on the podcast was a violation of contracts that had been signed."
Participants in "Celebrity Traitors" signed non-disclosure agreements before filming began at Ardross Castle. Ross Kemp previously described the agreement as "longer than the Bayeux Tapestry."
Despite the controversy surrounding the unaired podcast episode, the "Celebrity Traitors" finale drew a record-breaking 11.2 million viewers, making it the most-watched television event of 2026 in the UK. Comedians Romesh and actor Sebastian 'Bash' Croft were crowned the winners, splitting the £83,000 prize money for their chosen charities.
The final episode saw Romesh and Sebastian successfully identify and banish the Traitors, Maya Jama and King Kenny. The finale concluded with host Claudia Winkleman congratulating the winners. Romesh expressed his belief in his partnership with Sebastian, while Sebastian described the win as potentially "the best day of my life."
