Singer Ariana Grande and her ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez spent the Fourth of July weekend together, continuing a streak of recent outings. The pair were photographed on Saturday leaving a Whole Foods in Boca Raton, Florida, carrying grocery bags.
Grande, 33, wore jeans and a hoodie with her hair in a bun. Alvarez, also 33, was seen helping Grande load the groceries into a vehicle. He wore a collared shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap.
Alvarez, a backup dancer, dated Grande between 2015 and 2016. The two have remained amicable over the years and were previously seen together in June, around the same time news broke of Grande's split from her boyfriend, Ethan Slater.
Last month, photos circulated of Grande and Alvarez dining together in Texas. A source told TMZ at the time that there was "nothing romantic between Ariana and Ricky this time around."
During a concert in June, Grande notably altered lyrics in her song that referenced Alvarez. Instead of singing "Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh," she performed "he’s still got [my] back." Alvarez's reaction to the change was captured on camera.
Grande's past relationships include Mac Miller, Pete Davidson, Dalton Gomez, and Ethan Slater. She was married to Gomez from 2021 to 2024. News of her split from Slater, 34, emerged in June, with a source stating they had "nothing but respect and admiration for one another" and realized they were "better off friends."
