Amy Schumer celebrated the Fourth of July holiday by sharing photos of herself in a swimsuit on social media.
Schumer, 45, posted to her Instagram Story on Sunday, sharing a group photo with approximately 25 friends and their families, some of whom she has known for 35 years. She captioned the image, "Epic Forth." Another post featured Schumer in a blue one-piece bathing suit, blue shorts, and a matching baseball cap, with credits to the clothing brand Mother and SNL's Chloe Fineman.
Health and Personal Updates
The social media posts come after Schumer has spoken publicly about significant life changes over the past year, including a notable weight loss transformation and her separation from husband Chris Fischer.
In December, Schumer disclosed to her Instagram followers that she had lost 50 pounds to address a hormonal disorder called Cushing syndrome, for which she received a diagnosis in 2024. Prior to this, she confirmed she was using the weight-loss drug semaglutide, having previously tried Wegovy three years earlier without success.
In March, Schumer mentioned in an Instagram video that she struggled with the previous weight loss treatment, stating, "I couldn’t handle it. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula. Whatever."
In May, she revealed undergoing a "botched colonoscopy" that impacted her libido. This health update was shared during a "Dear Media by Night" podcast event, where she reportedly expressed feeling "happier than I’ve ever been before."
Marriage and Divorce
Schumer and Fischer, also 45, announced in December that they were ending their marriage of nearly eight years. Schumer shared the news on Instagram, stating, "Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years."
She added that they "love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son," requesting privacy.
Schumer filed for divorce from the professional chef in January. The couple shares a son, Gene, who is 7 years old.
