Alan Ritchson, star of the Amazon Prime series "Reacher," announced Saturday that he and his wife, Catherine, are separating after 27 years together. The couple shared the news via a collaborative post on Ritchson's Instagram account.
Ritchson, 43, and Catherine, 42, began dating when they were high school sweethearts and Alan was 17. They married in 2006 and have three sons: Calem, 13, Edan, 12, and Amory Tristan, 10.
The announcement comes over two decades after they first began their relationship and marks the end of a long-standing union that began when Ritchson was a teenager.
Ritchson is widely recognized for his role as Jack Reacher in the Amazon Prime series, which premiered in 2022. He has also appeared in other notable productions, including "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and "Fast & Furious 10."
