The Abbey Road Music Photography Awards have revealed their shortlist, showcasing standout images from the past year in music. Nominees were selected from over 24,500 submissions from 42 countries.

The awards feature 40 finalists across eight categories. Notable artists and moments captured include Liam Gallagher's performance and Charli XCX's set at Glastonbury Festival. Other featured musicians and bands include Kendrick Lamar, Fontaines DC, Tame Impala, and Sombr.

Photographs of artists such as FKA Twigs have also been recognized with judges' awards. A selection of finalist photographs will be exhibited at the Outernet London entertainment complex from September 8 to 14. This exhibition will include the five images nominated for the fan-voted 'music moment of the year' award.

Voting for the 'music moment of the year' is open online via the official websites of the Music Photography Awards and Abbey Road Studios, as well as in person at the exhibition. The winners are scheduled to be announced at a ceremony held at Abbey Road Studios in London on September 24.
