Fire crews are responding to a vehicle fire that has closed a section of the A31 in Hampshire, England. The incident occurred on Sunday evening near Ringwood, within the New Forest.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service reported that the blaze had extended into the central reservation of the road. Local residents observed the fire spreading into adjacent bushes.
The closure of the A31 in both directions has impacted traffic, and the M27 is also shut at junction two. Authorities are advising motorists to seek alternative routes and avoid the affected area.
