Two teenagers have been sentenced to a total of 19 years and six months in prison for carrying out a series of firebomb attacks on family homes in South Wales. Yasin Hussain, 18, and Adam Taylor-Morris, 19, targeted three properties with Molotov cocktails over a six-hour period in June 2026.

Footage released by South Wales Police shows Hussain and Taylor-Morris launching blazing bottles at houses. In one incident, Hussain dropped a Molotov cocktail through an open living room window, igniting the room. Another clip depicted a petrol-filled bottle being hurled through a window, causing a fire upon impact.

The attacks began around 4 a.m. on June 1, 2026, at a home on Porcher Avenue, Glyncoch, where a brick smashed a window before a Molotov cocktail was thrown, igniting outside the property. The pair then traveled by taxi to Caerphilly, where a brick was thrown through a window on Wallis Drive, followed by a petrol-filled bottle that ignited but was quickly extinguished. The final attack occurred around 9 a.m. at a home on Pearson Crescent, Glyncoch, where Taylor-Morris dropped a Molotov cocktail through an open window, setting the room alight.

Hussain and Taylor-Morris both pleaded guilty to three counts of arson with intent to endanger life at Cardiff Crown Court. Hussain, described as having no fixed abode, received a sentence of nine years and nine months, while Taylor-Morris, also of no fixed abode, received the same sentence. Detective Constable Connor Michael stated that the sentences reflect the severity of the "deliberate and dangerous arson attacks" and cautioned that such behavior would not be tolerated.

Danni Taylor, 24, who drove the pair from Scotland, pleaded guilty to participating in the criminal activities of an organized crime group and will be sentenced at a later date. Police noted that the attacks could have resulted in "serious injury or loss of life."
