Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the death of a motorcyclist who plunged hundreds of feet into the sea from Great Orme in Llandudno. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on October 29.
A major rescue operation was launched after the motorcyclist left the road and entered the water. The rider was recovered but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three arrested individuals are aged between 17 and 18. They have been interviewed and subsequently released as inquiries continue. North Wales Police have identified a black vehicle, believed to be a Ford Fiesta, as part of their investigation.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans urged the public not to speculate on social media, stating it can be distressing for the victim's loved ones. He believes there are individuals within the community who possess direct information that could assist the investigation into the "tragic and devastating death of a young man."
Police are requesting that anyone who drove along Marine Drive, from the Toll House around the headland, between October 26 and October 29 review their dashcam footage. Information can be provided to the Serious Collision Investigation Unit via webchat on the North Wales Police website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 26000888717.
