Police confirmed that at least two people were injured in a shooting at a high school in the southern Philippine city of Zamboanga on Tuesday. Regional police spokesperson Maj. Shellamie Chang stated that authorities were working to secure the school campus.
Witnesses identified the location as Ateneo de Zamboanga University. Reports from journalists at the scene indicated that the suspect was a Grade 7 student and that the victims were shot inside a classroom.
