Two piglets led South Carolina police on a foot chase through Beaufort, South Carolina, before being safely apprehended. The incident, captured on camera, showed officers pursuing the agile animals across roads and sidewalks.
The piglets, humorously dubbed "bacon bits," demonstrated an impressive ability to evade capture for several minutes. In one moment from the pursuit, an officer was seen leaping in the air as one of the piglets changed direction abruptly.
The Beaufort Police Department shared footage of the chase on Facebook, noting, "We have no caption for this… thankfully, an amazing citizen caught the chase on camera." Fortunately, the fugitive pigs were safely returned to their owners, with the department adding that "no ham was done."
