Trevor Dunkley, 66, has pleaded guilty to the murder of Patricia Lashley, who disappeared from Hall Street, Dudley in September 1998. Dunkley also admitted to a separate charge of preventing her lawful burial.
Lashley, who would now be 61, was last seen near her home over two decades ago. The plea was entered during a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday. Further details are expected as the case progresses.
