At least 30 Yemeni government troops have been killed in rebel attacks targeting military camps in central Yemen, according to government sources. The assaults, which involved missiles and drones, struck several camps belonging to the Emergency Forces in the al-Ruwaik area of Marib province and the al-Abr area of Hadramawt.

Yemen's Health Minister Qasim Bahibah condemned the attacks as "treacherous" and stated they were intended to disrupt security and stability, though he did not provide a death toll.

A military spokesperson for the Houthi movement, which controls a significant portion of northwest Yemen and receives support from Iran, claimed responsibility. The spokesperson stated that the targets were "large Saudi military build-ups" within the camps. A Saudi-led coalition has been supporting the Yemeni government in the ongoing civil war. Military camps in the central provinces of Marib and Hadramawt were reportedly struck by Houthi missiles and drones targeting what the rebels described as Saudi military buildups.
