Zendaya and Tom Holland were seen enjoying a low-key lunch in Richmond, London, on Friday, taking a moment to relax after a busy period of promotional events. The couple, who recently confirmed their marriage, have been engaged in press tours for "The Odyssey" and the latest "Spider-Man" film.
Zendaya, 29, was dressed casually in a summery white dress paired with a thin navy cardigan and £820 leather Maison Margiela ballet flats. She accessorized with a silk headscarf and opted for minimal makeup. Holland, 30, wore a white T-shirt, jeans, and an orange cap promoting his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero.
Their outing follows a public display of affection at the "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" premiere earlier in the week, where Holland was visibly moved by Zendaya's arrival on the red carpet. The pair met on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016 and have since married.
During recent press engagements, both actors have spoken about their relationship. Holland referred to Zendaya as his "wife" and admitted that she brings a sense of "calm" to his life amidst the pressures of the spotlight. Zendaya has described Holland as her "best friend" and expressed her enjoyment in their shared journey in the film industry.
Previously, the couple, along with co-star Jacob Batalon, surprised nine-year-old Oliver, who has been raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity by running the equivalent of nine marathons. Holland commended Oliver's dedication, drawing parallels to his own father's experience.
Holland also shared an anecdote on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" where he contrasted his wife's patience with his own viewing habits, noting that her involvement in the "Spider-Man" film made his interest more understandable to her.
