Katie Linin, 23, faces a murder charge after Craig Wesley Mintram, 45, died following an alleged assault. Police were called to Mr. Mintram's Southampton address in the early hours of Sunday morning after receiving reports of an assault. Officers found Mr. Mintram at the property around 4:20 a.m. but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Military police confirmed that Mr. Mintram's family has been notified and is being supported by trained officers. Another individual, a 54-year-old man from Southampton, was also arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released with no further action.
Linin, who resides in Eldon Place, Bournemouth, has been remanded in custody. She is scheduled to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning.
