A woman has been charged with aggravated intimidation of a juror after allegedly photographing jury members outside the Plymouth courthouse during the ongoing trial of Lindsay Clancy. Dawn Light, 56, is accused of taking photos of jurors as they exited the building on Tuesday, an act prohibited by the court.
Light's attorney stated that her actions were a misunderstanding, and she pleaded not guilty to the charges. Massachusetts lawyers argued that the integrity of the judicial system was jeopardized by her conduct. Light, a registered nurse with no prior criminal record, was ordered to remain away from the courthouse and any individuals associated with the Clancy trial. She was also instructed not to create or distribute any photos that might have been saved on iCloud.
Prosecutors had requested a $50,000 cash bail, but the judge denied this request. The trial of Lindsay Clancy, 36, who is charged with the murders of her three children, has garnered significant national and international media attention. The jury began deliberations on Thursday.
