A woman identified as Dawn Light, 56, was arrested outside the Plymouth District Court on Tuesday afternoon and charged with intimidation in connection with the ongoing trial of Lindsay Clancy. Prosecutors allege Light was attempting to film jurors as they left the courthouse, an act she claims was a misunderstanding.

Light was taken into custody at approximately 3:40 p.m. and subsequently charged with aggravated intimidation of a witness, juror, or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. She appeared in court for her arraignment on Wednesday, the same day the jury began its deliberations in Clancy's case. During her arraignment, Light was ordered to stay away from the courthouse, jury members, and any witnesses, and was prohibited from sharing any photos or videos related to the proceedings.

During the hearing, prosecutors requested $50,000 cash bail and informed the judge that court officers had confirmed Light was filming the jurors. According to Massachusetts State Police, officers found Light in her vehicle within a restricted area of the courthouse parking lot. When confronted, she initially denied filming or taking pictures. However, state police confiscated her phone and reportedly found a deleted video file containing footage of jurors departing the courthouse.

Light has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her defense attorney argued that her intention was not to intimidate anyone, but rather to photograph Lindsay Clancy as she exited the building. Light, who reportedly described herself as a "true crime junkie," has maintained that she did not intend to intimidate anyone and was merely trying to film Clancy. She told CT Insider, "That’s the long and the short of it. I don’t know how I intimidated anyone."
