Nearly four decades after the disappearance of Lee Boxhall, a witness, identified as Alys, has come forward to share her account of what she believes to be the aftermath of his murder. Speaking exclusively to The Crime Desk newsletter, Alys described witnessing a blood-soaked mattress and smelling a decomposing odor within a church youth club on the outskirts of south London around the time of Boxhall's 1986 disappearance.

Alys has identified a local father of eight, known by the nickname 'warlock paedophile,' as the individual she believes is responsible for Boxhall's death. This marks the first time she has spoken publicly about the events that have haunted her for 40 years.

The Crime Desk newsletter provides in-depth reporting on notable cases. The exclusive interview with Alys is available to subscribers of the newsletter.
