Will Estes, known for his role as Jamie Reagan in the recently concluded series "Blue Bloods," is set to appear in the CBS spinoff "Boston Blue." The appearance will mark another reunion for the fictional Reagan family on the new series.

Estes' character, Jamie Reagan, will travel to Boston to be featured in an upcoming episode. Donnie Wahlberg, who portrays Jamie's brother Danny Reagan and has transitioned his role to "Boston Blue," shared a behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram Story confirming Estes' arrival. "Welcome (back) to the family! Jamie Reagan! AKA Will Estes!" Wahlberg posted, alongside a picture with "Boston Blue" stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Marcus Scribner, and Mika Amonsen.

"Boston Blue" premiered in October 2025, following the conclusion of "Blue Bloods" after its 14-season run. The spinoff follows Danny Reagan, a former NYPD detective, as he begins a new chapter with the Boston Police Department. The series has already seen other "Blue Bloods" cast members make guest appearances. Bridget Moynahan has reprised her role as Erin Reagan, and Len Cariou returned as Henry Reagan. Will Hochman also appeared as Joe Hill.

In addition to Estes' character, the show has also introduced new actors for existing "Blue Bloods" family members. Mika Amonsen has taken over the role of Sean Reagan, Danny's son, replacing Andrew Terraciano.

CBS renewed "Boston Blue" for a second season in December, with the new season scheduled to premiere on October 9. The continued appearances of the Reagan family members in "Boston Blue" suggest that the familial gatherings, a hallmark of "Blue Bloods," are continuing in the new series.
