Victoria Beckham marked her 27th wedding anniversary with David by sharing a tribute on Instagram that included a nod to their children, a move that may risk further alienating their estranged son, Brooklyn.

In her post, Beckham, 52, shared a photo of herself kissing David, writing, "After 27 years of marriage, four amazing children and countless matching outfits, you’re still my everything. Happy anniversary!! I love you so much ♥️". David also shared a tribute, stating, "29 years together, 27 years married & you have given me everything I could ever wish for.. Our proudest achievement will always be our family I love you & Happy Anniversary @victoriabeckham."

The Beckhams are parents to Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14. While the anniversary posts were a public display of affection for their marriage, sources suggest Brooklyn has reportedly been "fuming" about his parents' continued mentions of him in their social media posts. He has allegedly expressed a desire for them to "leave him alone."

This sentiment reportedly surfaced after David and Victoria's Father's Day posts last month, where both included references to Brooklyn. A source told The Sun that Brooklyn is "fuming about it. He's asked them to leave him alone and they just keep posting him." The source added, "It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they'd leave it and leave him alone."

The rift between Brooklyn and his parents reportedly escalated before Christmas last year when he blocked them on Instagram. Subsequently, his lawyers are said to have contacted the Beckhams' team to request that all communication be handled through legal representatives. In January, Brooklyn is reported to have released a six-page statement detailing his decision to cut ties with his family, declaring he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham" and labeling his parents and siblings as "performative."

In his statement, Brooklyn claimed his parents had controlled him for much of his life, attempted to create distance between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz, and had embarrassed him at his wedding. Specific accusations included his mother cancelling Nicola's dress design at the last minute, parental pressure to sign away rights to his name, and his mother dancing "inappropriately" with him during his wedding's first dance.

Brooklyn was last seen with his family during Christmas 2024. By May 2025, the estrangement appeared evident when he did not publicly acknowledge his parents' birthdays, including David's 50th.

More recently, Brooklyn has faced criticism for a two-part DoorDash commercial that some interpreted as mocking his estrangement from his family and profiting from their name. In the ad's teaser, he smirked and said, "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home... It's a long story." Friends of the Beckhams reportedly expressed shock and described the pair as "devastated and inconsolable" by the ad's content. One friend told the Daily Mail, "To do an advert based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and sister and grandparents inconsolable is shocking. Especially from someone who claims he wants peace and privacy."
