Tyson Fury and his wife, Paris Fury, have opened up about the boxer's struggles with depression, alcohol, and drug addiction in a new trailer for their upcoming Netflix documentary. The couple tearfully recount the difficult period following Fury's 2015 heavyweight title win over Wladimir Klitschko, during which the boxer confessed he felt he had lost his purpose and "didn't want to live."

"All I wanted to was beat Klitschko. It was an obsession for me," Tyson Fury states in the trailer. "I'd achieved all my childhood dreams, but my whole point of existence had been taken away. I didn't want to live."

Paris Fury described her fear as she watched her husband's life spiral. "The Tyson I knew was gone and I was so scared," she said. The documentary explores Fury's upbringing, where discussing emotions was not encouraged, with him quoting 50 Cent: "Show no love, love will get you killed."

Following his addiction battles, Fury made a boxing comeback in 2018. He later secured victories against Deontay Wilder in a heavyweight trilogy, reclaiming the WBC title. He has since competed in unification bouts against Oleksandr Usyk, though he fell short in both contests.

Netflix cameras have been documenting the Fury family's lives since 2023. The streaming service will also broadcast Fury's anticipated fight against Anthony Joshua in Cardiff on December 11.
