Two separate incidents involving alleged sightings of smaller Bigfoot-like creatures have been reported in Southwest Pennsylvania, according to researcher Stan Gordon. These encounters, which took place on consecutive days in August, featured beings described as being no taller than five feet.

The first incident occurred on a farm in Indiana County. A witness reported hearing sounds of something being thrown while working near a farm building. Upon exiting, the witness observed two figures crouching behind trees approximately 60 feet away. The witness described the figures as walking upright on two legs and standing about three and a half feet tall, covered in straggly, light brown hair. They reportedly had no visible necks, with heads resting directly on their shoulders, and featured darker brown faces with round, dark brown eyes.

According to the witness's account relayed by Gordon, the creatures were slender, with arms resembling those of a young child, and made cooing noises similar to a baby. The encounter concluded when the witness sneezed, alerting the figures, who then ran off. The witness's family dog reportedly became fearful of going outside after the incident, and the witness later heard sounds similar to the cooing noises at night.

The second encounter took place the following evening, around 8:00 p.m., in Westmoreland County. A driver on a rural road reported seeing a hair-covered creature running up a hill. The witness estimated the creature to be about five feet tall, moving on two legs, and covered in charcoal-gray hair. The description included a somewhat dome-shaped head with no apparent neck, long swinging arms, a slightly flat nose with flared nostrils, and small, dark eyes. The witness did not notice any ears and clearly saw one hair-covered leg as the creature turned and moved down the hillside.

Gordon noted that the region of Pennsylvania where these sightings occurred has a history of both Bigfoot and UFO reports. However, he stated there is nothing currently connecting these recent encounters to any prior accounts. Both sightings reportedly lacked any supporting physical evidence. The mystery of these purported "mini-Bigfoot" encounters remains unsolved.
