Two pygmy goats attempted to board a public bus in Portland, Oregon, during the Tuesday morning commute. The incident occurred around 7:40 a.m. when the two animals followed passengers onto a TriMet bus.
The bus operator noticed the goats and reopened the doors, allowing them to exit. Passengers on the bus were seen trying to encourage the goats to leave before they eventually wandered off towards a nearby shopping center.
Video footage of the event was posted by the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet). Portland police reportedly checked the area but did not locate the goats. TriMet acknowledged the unusual nature of the event, humorously questioning if the goats possessed valid fares.
