Alexandra Zardoya, the twin sister of Milania Giudice's late childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, has broken her silence following the tragic death of her sibling at the age of 20. Victoria Zardoya died on July 26 after sustaining fatal injuries from a fall on July 24 while exploring historic ruins in Florida.
Alexandra shared a touching tribute on social media, accompanied by photos of the sisters throughout their lives. "My twin sister, my other half, we were in the womb together, and ever since then we have been inseparable," Alexandra wrote. "You are the only person in this world who truly understood every single part of me. You truly were a light in everyone's life, especially mine."
She described her sister as "intelligent, caring, and endlessly empathetic" and "the funniest person I knew." Alexandra expressed her admiration for Victoria's ability to "lived every day in the moment and were unapologetically yourself." Victoria's death, Alexandra stated, feels like "a bad dream" she wishes she could wake up from. "Half of my heart will forever be broken," she added. "It was always supposed to be me and you till the end, Vic."
Alexandra also highlighted Victoria's choice to be an organ donor. "Because of your selfless choice eight people will have a second chance at life. You are a hero, Victoria," she wrote. She promised to make her sister proud and to "live out your name everyday of my life."
Victoria Zardoya's fall occurred at Fort Dade on Egmont Key. According to a friend, Victoria Silberbusch, Zardoya had traveled to Florida for a weekend visit with friends. Silberbusch recounted that the incident happened quickly as they were preparing to leave the historic ruins. "At first, we thought Victoria had fallen only one level. We ran to the edge, calling out to her, but quickly realized she had fallen much further than we first believed," she stated. First responders were alerted, and a medical helicopter transported Zardoya to a hospital where she later passed away. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office confirmed that their Marine Unit responded to reports of a fall on Egmont Key, and Zardoya was airlifted in critical condition. She was pronounced deceased on July 27, 2026.
Joe Giudice, father of Milania Giudice and a friend of Victoria Zardoya's family, also posted a tribute. "Victoria, you were like a daughter to me. I watched you grow up with my daughter Milania. We were neighbors for years, and you became part of our family," he wrote. "To think that a simple fall while just being young and having fun could take such a beautiful life is heartbreaking."
An official from The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department stated that Zardoya's autopsy had not yet been completed because she was an organ donor. Milania Giudice also shared posts honoring Zardoya on her Instagram stories.
