President Donald Trump delivered an emotional tribute to the late Senator Lindsey Graham at a memorial service held at Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday, remembering him as a "legend" with a "good and mighty heart" and bipartisan appeal.

"He was a man who gave America the full measure of his good and mighty heart," Trump said of the South Carolina Republican, who died earlier this month at 71. "Until that heart itself just gave out." Trump noted Graham's ability to be quick with a laugh while never losing sight of his mission for a strong America.

The service marked the conclusion of a series of funeral events for Graham, which included ceremonies in Washington and South Carolina.

High-profile attendees at the National Cathedral included current and former administration officials, foreign leaders, and Cabinet members. Among them were Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Former Vice President Mike Pence and CIA Director John Ratcliffe were also present.

Cabinet secretaries in attendance included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was also seen speaking with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Earlier, Graham's colleagues held a separate, emotional tribute in the Senate Rotunda. Senate Majority Leader John Thune spoke, expressing hope for Graham's return to humor, while Vice President JD Vance remembered the senator as someone who "loved people" and was willing to reason and persuade them.
