Former President Donald Trump recently secured two more golf trophies, winning both the club and senior championships at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. The victories add to a reported tally of over 40 golf titles across his properties.

Details shared by a fellow competitor, Philip Zamloot, on social media revealed that both Trump and Zamloot recorded net scores of 70 during the senior club championships. A player's net score is calculated by subtracting their handicap from their gross score. However, footage of the scoreboard also indicated that Trump achieved a gross score of 70, suggesting he played with a handicap of zero.

A handicap of zero is typically achieved by golfers of a very high skill level. Zamloot posted on Instagram, "President Trump and myself both had net scores of 70 at the senior club championships on Saturday. Proud to be on the same leaderboard and same net score as the president of the greatest country in the world."

The course at Bedminster has a par of 72, meaning Trump's reported gross score of 70 would put him two strokes under par. Trump himself shared a video on social media showing a shot from the tournament, captioning it, "The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship!" He added, "I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things. It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!"

Trump eagerly shared footage from his latest golfing triumph at his course in New Jersey

This follows a similar claim from the previous year, when a scorecard released by the White House indicated Trump had shot a 3-under 69 to win the same annual tournament by 10 gross strokes. Trump's golf performance records have previously drawn skepticism from critics and sports journalists. Sportswriter Rick Reilly, author of a book on Trump's golf habits, has publicly questioned the validity of his tournament wins.
