Former President Donald Trump attended the 25th anniversary ceremony of the September 11, 2001 attacks at the Pentagon on Friday.
White House spokesperson Davis Ingle stated that Trump was "solemnly listening and remembering the victims and heroic first responders who tragically lost their lives on that fateful day." Ingle added, "Anyone ridiculously claiming the President was asleep is lying."
The event included a video and several photos capturing Trump's presence at the commemoration.
