The Trump administration has launched a "Shark Tank"-style competition for entrepreneurs called "Million Dollar Pitch," with rapper Nicki Minaj serving as a panelist and actor Dean Cain as host. The Small Business Administration (SBA) confirmed the details on Monday.

Minaj, who was recently lauded by President Donald Trump at a White House event as a "woman that is respected by everybody" and possessing "real talent," will join a panel that also includes Joe Gebbia, co-founder of Airbnb and a Trump appointee, and equity fund manager Grant Cardone.

Cain, known for his role in "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," will host the event. Cain has previously been involved in various public engagements, including joining Immigration and Customs Enforcement as an honorary officer.

The competition will feature five finalists, selected from previously submitted ideas, who will compete in a live pitch event in Washington, D.C., on September 18. The ultimate winner will receive $400,000, and each finalist will receive a portion of the total $1 million prize pool.

"As our nation marks its 250th anniversary, the SBA is celebrating America’s legacy of free enterprise through the Million Dollar Pitch Competition—a historic live event showcasing the essential contributions of America’s small businesses," SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler told Fox News Digital. The initiative aims to showcase American entrepreneurship and the role of small businesses.
