Travis Kelce acquired a sprawling lakefront mansion in Bratenahl, Ohio, for $5.35 million in March, several months before marrying Taylor Swift. The property, which was originally listed for $5.99 million, closed on March 2 according to listing records.

The 1895-built estate spans 21,140 square feet and is situated on 3.5 acres along Lake Erie. It features eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and three half bathrooms, along with a five-car garage. The home also includes a ballroom, a home theater, a guest cottage, and a pool.

Kelce, a native of Cleveland Heights, purchased the home in his home county. Its proximity to a private airstrip is expected to facilitate travel for the couple, who have a combined real estate portfolio that includes properties across the country. Swift's holdings include residences in Rhode Island, Nashville, and California, as well as a Manhattan condo, while Kelce owns a property in Kansas City.

David Ayers, who co-brokered the sale with Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland, described the Gilded Age property as a blend of historical charm and modern updates. Ayers stated that the meticulously restored original details, combined with exceptional modern amenities, have created a unique Great Lakes estate, expressing enthusiasm for the new owners and for Cleveland.

In related news, Kelce and Swift recently introduced their new Samoyed puppy, Wendy, who made her debut in a Tommy Hilfiger campaign photoshoot on the roof of the Plaza Hotel. Kelce mentioned that the brand needed a dog for the shoot and he offered his puppy, noting that Wendy fit the Tommy aesthetic well. He added that the puppy brings him joy daily.

The Cleveland Heights native’s hometown splurge caps a big week for the pair, who also debuted their new Samoyed pup, reportedly named Wendy, in a Tommy Hilfiger campaign shot atop the Plaza Hotel.
