Travis Kelce marked his return to the Kansas City Chiefs' preseason with a visible symbol of his recent marriage, proudly displaying his wedding ring. The tight end arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs' matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, his first game since tying the knot with pop star Taylor Swift on July 3 in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden followed by a honeymoon.

Kelce, 36, sported a knit co-ord shirt and shorts set with gold tie-dye detailing, accessorized with black sunglasses and sneakers. The most prominent accessory was his new gold wedding band, which he showcased as he entered the stadium. He also carried a can of Accelerator Active Energy Drink, a brand in which he is an investor and partner.

His wife, Swift, who has often attended Chiefs home games, was not initially visible in the luxury suites as the game commenced. She was recently spotted in London in her first solo public appearance as a married woman.

Kelce was not expected to play in the exhibition game, and several other key Chiefs players, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also sat out. Head coach Andy Reid confirmed earlier in the week that Mahomes would miss the preseason opener for the first time since his 2017 draft.

Kelce addressed his offseason and his wedding in a recent press conference, calling the event the "best night of my life" and describing it as a "crazy night" filled with "a lot of celebration." He expressed gratitude to the owners of Madison Square Garden for allowing them to hold the private event in the venue he called the "Mecca of all sports venues."

Despite his personal milestones, Kelce acknowledged team struggles last season, when the Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014. He stated his intention to improve his leadership and be a more dependable presence for the team during adversity in his upcoming 14th NFL season. Kelce indicated he felt prepared for the season, focusing on setting a high standard for his teammates.
