WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson revealed that she almost stopped posting bikini photos due to unsolicited advice from a friend. The experience initially caused her to cease posting altogether but ultimately led to a reaffirmation of her confidence and discipline.
Wilson, who recently turned 51, shared that a friend advised her she no longer needed to post "sexy" photos. This comment, she said, "stung" and made her feel judged by someone she cared about. For a period, Wilson stopped posting content.
"What hurt the most was that, at that point in my life, I finally felt free—free to embrace my femininity, my confidence, and the work I’d put into taking care of myself," Wilson wrote. She described the offending photo as one of her in a bikini, which her friend had apparently taken issue with.
After allowing the conversation to influence her for a significant time, Wilson experienced a shift in perspective. She credited her "fun page on Passes" for helping her regain confidence. This led to a decision not to be held back by external criticism.
Wilson emphasized that her posts are not about celebrating perfection but rather "discipline, consistency, health, and feeling at home in my own skin." She stated, "And I refuse to apologize for that anymore."
She concluded that while she is not obligated to post bikini photos, her friend's advice failed to acknowledge her personal desire to do so. Wilson continues to share content on her platform, asserting that she will decide when to stop posting.
