Tom Holland stepped in to prevent his wife, Zendaya, from experiencing a wardrobe malfunction in New York City on Thursday.

The couple was seen leaving their hotel when a gust of wind caused Zendaya's black dress, which featured a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit, to lift. Holland noticed the issue and gestured to his wife, who then secured the hem of her dress. He continued to guide her toward an awaiting vehicle as she held her dress in place.

Zendaya's dress featured a floral embellishment and was paired with closed-toe black heels and minimal silver earrings. Her makeup included a blush and a nude lip color.

Holland wore a dark navy sweater and denim jeans. The couple has been promoting their new film, "The Odyssey," set to be released on July 17. Holland stars as Telemachus, and Zendaya portrays the goddess Athena in the film.

Earlier in the week, Zendaya discussed landing her role in "The Odyssey" on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon." She mentioned that Holland had already been cast and met with director Christopher Nolan before she was considered for the part. Zendaya recounted her excitement for Holland and her admiration for Nolan's work, stating she hadn't initially considered herself for a role in the project.
