A one-year-old boy miraculously survived a fall from a fifth-floor window in the Bronx on Friday evening. The toddler landed in a backyard and was hospitalized in stable condition.
The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. at 593 Oak Terrace. First responders found the baby alert and conscious upon arrival, according to the Fire Department of New York. He was transported to Harlem Hospital.
Authorities have arrested one person of interest at the scene. Two other children were removed from the residence by police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
