Police have arrested three men on suspicion of drug-related offenses following the death of a 25-year-old man in Powys. Paramedics were called to a campsite near the Royal Welsh showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, on Saturday night but were unable to save the man.

Temporary Chief Superintendent Steve Davies stated that the incident is considered tragic and that the thoughts of the police are with the young man's family. He reassured the public that the death is currently being treated as unexplained and that there is no evidence of an ongoing risk to the wider community. The Royal Welsh Show, Wales' largest annual agricultural festival, is scheduled to commence on Monday.

The three arrested men remain in custody as the investigation continues.
