A 17-year-old boy has died following a two-car collision near Eastbourne on Friday evening. Sussex Police reported that the teenager was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. BST on June 26, near the Shooters Bottom car park by Beachy Head. The car the teenager was in collided with another vehicle. Three other individuals sustained serious injuries: a 19-year-old man from Polegate and a 21-year-old man from Hellingly, who were also passengers in the first car, and the 21-year-old driver of the second car.
Det Sgt Ian Foxton of the Sussex Police serious collision investigation unit is urging anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash to come forward. Police are particularly seeking individuals who have not yet spoken to officers or who possess any video or dashcam footage of the collision.
