A 17-year-old driver crashed through a fence at Portsmouth International Airport in New Hampshire on Saturday evening, striking a parked plane and a tractor during a police pursuit, according to state police.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. after a trooper attempted to stop a black Ford Mustang on Durham Street in Portsmouth. The driver, identified as Wyatt Seely of Rochester, allegedly fled the scene without activating his vehicle's lights, the New Hampshire State Police (NHSP) reported.

Seely then allegedly crashed the Mustang through the airport's perimeter fence and onto an aircraft parking apron. The vehicle subsequently collided with a Kubota tractor and an unoccupied, stationary plane before coming to a stop, NHSP stated in a social media post.

Authorities found Seely to be intoxicated following the crash. He was taken into custody by state troopers and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. No other individuals were injured during the incident.

Seely faces misdemeanor charges including driving while intoxicated (DWI), aggravated driving while intoxicated, disobeying a police officer, and conduct after an accident. He also faces a violation for reckless driving. His arraignment is scheduled for September 9, 2026, in Portsmouth District Court.

Assistance during the incident was provided by the Portsmouth Police and Fire departments, the Newington Police Department, and Pease Fire and Emergency Services.
