Newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce shared a selfie taken Monday evening following the Kansas City Chiefs' season-opening victory over the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs secured a 31-10 win in the game.
A social media user posted the photograph on Instagram on Thursday. Swift, wearing a red-and-cream gingham polo dress, held the phone to capture the image. Kelce, also 36, stood next to her, smiling. Swift had previously worn the same dress to cheer on Kelce at the game, pairing it with her signature red lipstick and winged eyeliner.
Swift, 36, was also seen interacting with actor Tom Cruise in a VIP suite during the game. Cruise, 64, later appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," where he shared that Swift had been explaining football to him. He described Swift as a "genius" and noted that she "knows her stuff."
Cruise recounted that Swift had mentioned her initial lack of football knowledge when she first began dating Kelce. He stated that Swift said Kelce was "so patient," and Cruise humorously agreed that "everybody would be very patient" with her.
This was not Swift's first time attending a Chiefs game to support Kelce. She was previously seen at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day in 2025 for the Chiefs' matchup against the Broncos. On that occasion, she wore a festive red bomber jacket and was accompanied by her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift. During that game, which the Chiefs lost 20-13, Swift was observed showing signs of nervousness.
Prior to the season opener, Swift and Kelce were photographed on a dinner date on Friday, as shared by Talya Rae Groves on Instagram. The outing took place at Kelce's restaurant, 1587 Prime, in Kansas City.
