Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden in a highly publicized ceremony attended by approximately 1,000 guests. The event, held on Friday, saw the iconic New York City venue transformed into a "secret garden" for the celebration.
< ]]>First glimpses inside the event emerged on social media from guests, including personal trainer Rob Jordan's wife, Joann Jordan, and Kelce's friend, DJ Chop UFL. Photos shared by Jordan depicted guests ascending a grand staircase adorned with a red carpet, white and dark pink curtains, and MSG staff. Another set of photos showed guests on a different staircase in front of a large brown door and a silver chandelier. Jordan described the evening as "unforgettable," celebrating "the beginning of a beautiful new chapter" for the couple.
DJ Chop UFL also shared images from the same staircases, referring to the celebration as an "unbelievable celebration and experience" and offering congratulations to his "brother and sister Trav & Tay Tay."
Director Joseph Kahn, who attended with his wife Lotte, shared a selfie with pink curtains in the background. He noted the wedding was "funnier and emotional than expected" and, despite its scale, felt "very intimate." Kahn also mentioned meeting Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, calling it a "lifelong dream achieved." He remarked that "literally everyone was there," likening the experience to "living in the internet."

The guest list included numerous celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran, Karlie Kloss, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Tom Brady, Laura Dern, Sabrina Carpenter, Dakota Johnson, Fergie, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Benson Boone, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg.
Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed that Swift wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and that Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Austin Swift served as his sister's "Man of Honor," while Jason Kelce was his brother's best man.
The festivities began with a cocktail hour on the venue's sixth-floor concourse at 4 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 5:30 p.m. The reception continued from 6:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. The following morning, large green furnishings, described as part of a "big gazebo," along with orange armchairs, cocktail tables, and chests holding games, were seen being wheeled out of MSG, indicating the scale of the event's decor. Employees estimated that the cleanup process would take approximately 24 hours.
< ]]>This large-scale celebration followed a private marriage ceremony that Swift and Kelce had already completed. The couple, who began dating in 2023, became engaged two years later at Kelce's home in Kansas.
< ]]>A car with the license plate "JST&T MRD" was also observed outside the venue after the wedding.
