Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony held at Madison Square Garden. The historic New York City venue was reportedly transformed into a "secret garden" for the occasion, with approximately 1,000 friends and celebrities in attendance.
Swift's aunt, Robin Gentry, described the event as a "beautiful evening" where the couple "cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged and they kissed." She also confirmed a "nice cake" was served for dessert.
AMC CEO Adam Aron, who attended the ceremony, shared details of the venue's transformation. "Floors, walls, ceilings… was draped in peach and white," Aron wrote in a now-deleted social media post. He noted that large photographs of Swift and Kelce from childhood through their teenage years were displayed. The space was cordoned off, creating an intimate atmosphere that resembled an "outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat" with "real flowers and I think artificial trees." Aron described the vows as "emotional" and "charming," highlighting the couple's personal reflections on how they met and their commitment to each other and their families.
The wedding ceremony, officiated by comedian Adam Sandler, was described as "funny" and "touching." Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her "man of honor," while Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, acted as best man. Jason's daughters were the flower girls. Both Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior.
Notable guests included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, Dakota Johnson, Steven Spielberg, Beyoncé, and Jay Z. Other attendees included Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, as well as Bradley Cooper.
Billboards outside Madison Square Garden reportedly displayed "JUST&T MARRIED" shortly after the couple became husband and wife, a nod to their shared initials.
