Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend Scooter Braun displayed affection while attending the Armani Beauty dinner during the Venice Film Festival on Thursday. The couple, who have been linked since September 2025, were photographed holding hands.
Sweeney, 28, wore a sequin backless dress for the event, while Braun, 45, was seen in blue shorts and a white shirt. The actress does not have film projects to promote at this year's festival but is expected to appear on red carpets as a brand ambassador alongside Kendall Jenner.
Earlier in the day, Sweeney and Braun shared a gondola ride, during which they were seen kissing. Sweeney was also seen in a white summer dress with a yellow jumper. Braun, a talent manager and record executive, wore a blue ensemble and a backward baseball cap.
The couple's relationship reportedly began after they met at a wedding in June of the previous year. Sweeney ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino in early 2025. Sources indicated in late 2025 that the pair were taking their relationship slowly. By December of that year, reports suggested their relationship had become serious and committed.
Sweeney has spoken about the challenges of public relationships, noting in January of the current year that while she wants to experience love, it is difficult with public scrutiny. She stated, "Sometimes I’ll think that I can do a normal thing and have a date in a normal way, and then it gets perceived in a very non-normal way. It’s kind of sad."
Braun previously described Sweeney as an "extraordinary woman who is kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth."
Sweeney was also seen interacting with Braun's children: Jagger Joseph, 11; Levi Magnus, nine; and Hart Violet, seven, whom he shares with his ex-wife Yael Cohen. The couple were spotted with the children in Los Angeles before their trip to Venice.
Braun and Cohen married in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2022. Other notable attendees at the Armani Beauty dinner included Nina Dobrev and Jonathan Bailey.
