Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated $26 million to over 20 charities across the United States in the week leading up to their wedding. The couple is set to marry on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with more than 1,000 guests expected to attend.
A smaller rehearsal dinner for approximately 100 close friends and family is scheduled for July 2 at the Infosys Theater within Madison Square Garden. This pre-wedding event will require cocktail attire, and only family members have been invited.
The charitable contributions include support for nine food banks, three children's hospitals, and seven educational programs. Among the recipients are City Harvest New York City, Food Bank For NYC, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters – The Community Food Network in Kansas City, The Store in Nashville, Helping Harvest in Reading, Pennsylvania, and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The donation also extends to organizations such as Feeding America, ASPCA, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Grammy In The Schools, Education Through Music, Answer The Call, Musical Mentors, and After-School All-Stars. Medical institutions benefiting include MSK Kids, the pediatric cancer program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Representatives for the couple confirmed the donations, stating, "This week, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift donated $26 million to charities across the United States."
Organizations have expressed gratitude for the significant contributions. The Store shared on Instagram, "We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their transformative gift to The Store. Their kindness will help more families across Middle Tennessee access fresh, healthy food with dignity and choice." Jilly Stephens, CEO of City Harvest, noted the $1 million donation to her organization as "a love letter to New York, and a bold commitment to our efforts to ensure that no New Yorker goes hungry."
Preparations for the wedding have been underway at Madison Square Garden, with equipment deliveries observed earlier in the week. Reports suggest the couple has allocated $160,000 for law enforcement presence on July 2 and July 3.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, got engaged in August 2025 after two years of dating. Details about the wedding ceremony location have been kept confidential from guests, who were instructed to arrive in New York City with no further information provided. Some sources indicate that guests who received invitations were required to sign non-disclosure agreements.
Friends and collaborators of Swift have been seen gathering on the East Coast in anticipation of the wedding. Singer Sabrina Carpenter was recently spotted in the West Village. Ed Sheeran and producer Aaron Dessner were seen together in Upstate New York, areas where they have collaborated with Swift on her music.
